SmartOps ERP

Give growing organisations one operational backbone

SmartOps ERP is a business-operations platform designed to connect the records, approvals and workflows that keep an organisation running. It aims to provide growing teams with a coherent operating model while allowing each function to work at the level of detail it actually needs.

01

The problem

Why this product matters

As organisations grow, customer information, suppliers, purchases, expenses, approvals and operational records spread across specialist tools and spreadsheets. Teams re-enter the same data, reporting arrives late and leaders cannot easily see how one operational decision affects another.

02

Who it is for

Designed around accountable roles

  • Growing small and medium-sized organisations formalising their operating processes.
  • Operations, administration and finance teams coordinating cross-functional work.
  • Managers responsible for approvals, budgets, suppliers and operational performance.
  • Multi-entity or multi-location organisations that need shared standards with controlled separation.

03

What users can accomplish

Useful outcomes, not feature theatre

  • Maintain core organisation, team, supplier and operational reference information.
  • Manage requests, approvals, purchases, expenses and supporting records.
  • Connect customer commitments with the operational work required to deliver them.
  • Track responsibilities, deadlines, exceptions and approvals across functions.
  • Reduce duplicate entry between customer, invoicing and operational processes.
  • Produce consistent operational and management reporting.
  • Preserve decision and change history for important business records.

04

Product workflow

How SmartOps ERP moves work forward

The workflow makes the complete operating journey visible—from the first controlled input to a traceable result.

01

Model the organisation

Define entities, locations, teams, roles, approval responsibilities and core reference data.

02

Choose the operating modules

Introduce the processes needed first rather than forcing every function into one large deployment.

03

Configure controls

Set permissions, approval thresholds, required evidence and exception paths.

04

Run connected work

Move requests and records across teams while maintaining responsibility and shared context.

05

Review and improve

Use operational reporting, exceptions and cycle times to refine the way work is organised.

07

Product boundaries

Clear about what it does—and what it does not replace

SmartOps ERP should be introduced around clearly owned business processes, not treated as a place to store everything. It does not replace specialist professional systems where deeper industry functionality is required. Customer engagement belongs in SmartOps CRM, invoice exchange in Invo+ and identity governance in Rinx Authenticator.

08

Security and trust

Control remains part of the product experience

Each operational record needs a defined owner, access scope and retention rule. Approval changes, master-data updates and sensitive transactions should be traceable. Segregation of duties and human review are especially important where one action can create, approve and financially commit the organisation.

09

Connection with the Rinx+ ecosystem

Connected where useful. Independent where appropriate.

SmartOps ERP can receive customer context from SmartOps CRM, coordinate invoice and payment records with Invo+, use Rinx Automation for cross-system processes, apply SkOr+ to operational prioritisation and rely on Rinx Authenticator for scoped access.
