01

The problem

Why this product matters

A successful login does not automatically mean that a person should see every application, customer, environment or action. As organisations add tools and users, disconnected credentials and broad permissions create avoidable risk. Access must remain understandable throughout invitation, authentication, role changes, recovery and revocation.

02

Who it is for

Designed around accountable roles

  • Organisations using one or more Rinx+ applications.
  • Administrators responsible for invitations, assignments and access reviews.
  • Employees, contractors, partners and customers who need scoped application access.
  • Security and operations teams that need traceable authentication and revocation events.

03

What users can accomplish

Useful outcomes, not feature theatre

  • Invite a person into the correct organisation and application context.
  • Verify identity and enrol an appropriate authentication method.
  • Use stronger verification for sensitive actions or unusual situations.
  • Limit sessions by application, environment, role, permission and assignment.
  • Review active access and remove it when a role or relationship changes.
  • Recover access through controlled, auditable procedures.
  • Support secure approval experiences such as QR or number-matching flows where configured.

04

Product workflow

How Rinx Authenticator moves work forward

The workflow makes the complete operating journey visible—from the first controlled input to a traceable result.

01

Invite

An authorised administrator creates an invitation for a person, organisation and intended application role.

02

Verify and enrol

The person confirms identity and sets up the authentication method required for the context.

03

Create a scoped session

Access is limited to the assigned tenant, application, environment, permissions and validity period.

04

Step up when needed

Sensitive actions request stronger proof instead of relying only on the original sign-in.

05

Recover or revoke

Controlled processes restore legitimate access or terminate sessions and permissions when necessary.

07

Product boundaries

Clear about what it does—and what it does not replace

Rinx Authenticator manages identity, authentication and access context. It does not replace the business permissions defined inside every product, and it is not a customer, finance or workforce-management system. Access decisions still depend on accurate assignments and responsible administration.

08

Security and trust

Control remains part of the product experience

Authentication secrets and recovery processes require strong technical and operational protection. Administrative actions, enrolment changes, step-up events and revocations should remain traceable. Users should receive only the minimum access required, for no longer than the relevant relationship or assignment lasts.

09

Connection with the Rinx+ ecosystem

Connected where useful. Independent where appropriate.

Rinx Authenticator is designed as a shared access layer for Invo+, SmartOps CRM, SmartOps ERP, SkOr+, SheaLy, Rinx Automation and Veuronix while allowing each product to enforce its own business-level permissions.
